Market Gardening in the Tropics

in Kuantan, Malaysia , We’ve been working on 9 market garden raised beds all ready, cover cropped and planted with all sorts of ground covers and nitrogen fixers ,, banana circles as mulch pits in all beds and alley cropped with leucaena, pigeon pea , papaya and gliricidia.

Chickens cycling on the other side of the garden , every two weeks , preparing ground for next years garden beds installation, mulch and cover crop follows them as they leave every section.

Food forest planted by Permaculture Design Course (PDC) students above garden beds and all around the fence ,, creating and seeping fertility in the ground and falling food every now and then  thanks to all involved in creating this.
